Dungeon Fighter Trailer Shows Off Side-Scrolling MMO Action
There are few MMO games on the horizon coming out for PC that’s aimed at getting the blood boiling and the heart racing and one of those titles happens to be Dungeon Fighter Online. Nexon recently released a new gameplay trailer for Dungeon Fighter and the game is a mix of old-school beat-e’m-up action with new-school online functionality.
One of the greatest challenges game designers have had to face over the years is bringing real-time combat into the MMO gaming sphere. Lag and connection issues have always been a burden to real-time combat in the MMO genre, but Nexon’s newest project aims to overcome that challenge and provide gamers with a unique, side-scrolling experience. That’s not all though, the game will still feature the RPG elements of many other MMOs out there while maintaining a fighting game atmosphere.
You can check out the new gameplay trailer for the game below. Some of the weapons and character options look kind of cool. Now, there are a few other side-scrolling MMOs out there such as VIVA Fighter and Wind-Slayer, so we’ll see how well Dungeon Fighter measures up to them.
