Square Enix announced this morning that action RPG Dungeon Siege III will not arrive in May as planned. They've decided to push the game's launch further into the summer.
“Square Enix is committed to delivering the ultimate Dungeon Siege experience,” said Mike Fischer, CEO and President of Square Enix, Inc. “Although the final polish phase has demanded a bit more time than originally planned, we want to assure fans and followers that the additional effort will allow us to deliver an action–RPG worthy of its rich heritage.”
DSIII will now be released on June 21st in North America. The new European release date is June 17th.
Retailers are still offering exclusive bonuses to pre-order customers. The slim silver lining of this delay is that you've got more time to weigh the different offers.
