Kalypso Media announced the North American release of Dungeons today. The PC strategy game makes you the master of your own twisted little lair.
Dungeons's general premise draws obvious comparisons to Dungeon Keeper: adventurers are trying to invade your sanctum and you need to use traps and minions to stop them. The difference between the games, though, is that you're not merely trying to kill these adventurers in Dungeons. Instead, you must entertain them first by designing a challenging dungeon. Then you suck away all their soul energy and use it to create even better dungeons.
If Dungeons sounds like your bag, note that you can pick up a demo before you buy it. It features three single-player levels and one survival mode map from the full game. The free sample is available through BigDownload, FileShack and other prominent download sites.
