Ubisoft has been tapped for another adaptation of an upcoming film. Their Montopellier studio is working with Paramount Digital Entertainment to create The Adventures of Tintin: The Game, based on the film directed and produced by Steven Spielberg.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Game takes players through the journeys of Tintin, the reporter and adventurer. They'll travel to many locations from the film including Captain Archibald Haddock’s ship “the Karaboudjan,” Omar Ben Salaad’s Palace and the city of Bagghar.
The single-player campaign is a mixture of exploration, combat, and puzzles. Driving, sword fighting, and aerial combat are some of the activities you'll engage in throughout your journey. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions support Kinect and Move, respectively.
There are also two other game modes to enjoy. Players can team up to complete coop challenges based on Captain Haddock's dreams. Challenge mode, meanwhile, tasks players with competing for high scores.
The Adventures of Tintin: The Game will be released during the 2011 holiday season for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii and 3DS.
