Electronic Arts and Insomniac Games announced today that a brand new four-player cooperative shooter is on the way for the Xbox 360 and PS3 called Overstrike. PS3 fanboys might be enraged to find out that the Resistance developers have moved over from the first-party exclusivity spectrum and into the multiplatform arena.
The game features multiple playable characters, each with their own buffs, strengths and abilities that enable players to tackle difficult situations and take down bosses using lots of teamwork.
Overstrike looks kind of like a mix of Brink meets Team Fortress 2, which isn’t a bad combination at all.
