Sandbox building game MineCraft is on its way to the Xbox 360. Microsoft revealed during their E3 presser that the indie phenomenon will arrive on the console later this year.
MineCraft, first released for the PC in 2009, is all about construction. Players' ultimate goal is to build whatever structures they can dream up. First, though, they'll need to explore the world and gather raw materials for building. They'll also have to avoid or fend off monsters while they travel.
The Xbox 360 will be the only console to receive MineCraft, according to Microsoft. The game's being designed specifically to take advantage of the 360's capabilities, specifically Kinect. The scope of the Kinect support wasn't completely clear, though.
MineCraft will be released on Xbox 360 this winter.
