At Sony's E3 presser, Ubisoft confirmed the existence of Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation. They released a flashy gameplay trailer for the brand-new game designed specifically for the Vita.
Many of the crucial story details were revealed this weekend. Players take on the role of Aveline, a female Assassin living in late 18th century New Orleans.
Aveline is the first female protagonist in an AC game. She's got many of the same abilities as her male counterparts. She can pounce on enemies from great heights, take them out with hidden blades and climb damn near anything. Much like AC3 hero Connor, she can smoothly run across tree branches as well.
This is probably the most promising piece of software we've seen so far for the Vita. If this doesn't manage to convince anyone to buy the handheld, then I don't know what will.
