Believe it or not, Far Cry 3's only three months away. Ubisoft finally realized how little time they've got to hype the game so during their E3 presentation they showed off a long gameplay demo complete with boobs, tigers, and a few hallucinations.
Remember that crazy guy Vaas from last year's FC3 video? Well, this time around, you're getting some payback. You storm his compound and kill scores of his men. Vaas isn't just some mere thug, though. The end of the trailer suggests that he has a deeper connection to the player character than we realize.
Another notable aspect of the video is that it gives us a glimpse at FC3's open-world. This game leaves the African savanna of FC2 behind and takes us to a tropical archipelago. It's even more attractive than FC2's setting, but I hope they've actually decided to flesh out the game world this time around. Graphics weren't the issue in the last game; the problem was that there simply wasn't much to do in those vast tracts of land.
Far Cry 3 will debut on September 4th in North America and on the 6th in Europe.
