Edge Of Space Free Beta Weekend Announced
Edge of Space, the survival, terraforming, sci-fi 2D action multiplayer title that is constantly being updated as it preps for its full release has made it to the point where the team at Handyman Studios is looking to bring in more beta testers and really hammer out the game at this stage in the game.
Reverb Publishing announced that Edge of Space's beta would be underway this weekend in light of its showing at this year's PAX East convention. The game itself is pretty freaking awesome on paper but it still has some tweaking and modifying to go in actual execution. As it stands, it has a real edge to the learning curve and it may be difficult for gamers who don't put 110% into the game, but the potential...oh boy, the potential is immense.
Some of the things you can craft and the way you can combine and craft some mechanical, energy and electrical devices together makes for one of the most robust and unique emergent games on the market. I don't want to spoil anything for you, but the ability to create generators, power sources, lighting sources, weapons and more gives Edge of Space the categorical significance of being considered a game with limitless creativity, very similar to other games like Starbound and Starforge.
I'm still trying to learn my way around the gameplay but I'm liking it so far. You can learn more or sign up to participate in the free beta by paying a kind visit to the game's Official Website. You can also give the game an upvote or two over at the official Steam Greenlight page.
