Next month Fallout: New Vegas will receive a downloadable content pack called "Dead Money." Bethesda's latest newsletter provides some additional details.
"Dead Money" takes place in and around the Sierra Madre, a luxury resort. Years after the bombs dropped, the resort's climate control system began spitting toxins into the surrounding city. The city's only remaining inhabitants, called the Ghost People, survive by wearing haz mat suits at all times.
The DLC can be accessed at any time prior to New Vegas's finale. The player will be alerted to the new area by a radio signal.
"Dead Money" will be released on December 21st and cost 800 MS Points ($10). For the time being, it's an Xbox 360 exclusive.
