Final Fantasy Tactics: The War Of The Lions Delayed To Late July
Mobile gamers who enjoy their RPGs while…um…mobile, will be slightly bummed to know that Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for the iPhone has been delayed a bit and that the iPad version of the game will arrive a month after the iPhone version.
According to a Facebook post that GamePro picked up – just as a side note, gaming websites should get achievements for uncovering news via social networking, it’s like a labyrinth out there, so points to you GamePro – the assistant producer of the game mentioned that the June deadline would not be met. I’d like to think that most gamers already picked this up considering that we’re no longer in June.
Anyway, the game will arrive during the July twenty-something. Yes, that’s correct…July twenty-something. Apparently they were so busy fixing up the game for release that they don’t actually have a concrete date yet. No worries, though, even though the team had a hard time working on the insta-save feature (so if you receive a call or important message while playing the game will instantly save your progress so you can actually DO YOUR JOB) the game should be done and available before August. And about twenty or so days after that, the iPad rendition of Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions should be available on the App Store.
You can head on over to the Official Facebook Page for Final Fantasy Tactics to learn more about the game, or you can just wait a few weeks and pick it up for your iPhone.
