During Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix revealed specific release dates for Final Fantasy XIII-2. The PS3/Xbox 360 RPG will have a phased global release beginning in December.
FFXIII-2 will debut in Japan on December 15th. North America will receive it on January 31st. Europe is bringing up the rear, with a February 3rd launch planned.
Square Enix also confirmed that they will be releasing post-release DLC for the game. This is a bit of a surprise, as they released no additional content for predecessor FFXIII. No further details were provided on the DLC.
FFXIII-2 begins three years after FFXIII. Lightning has gone missing and many believe she's dead. Her younger sister Serah believes she's still alive, though, and she sets out with Noel to find her.
