The PS3 version of MMO Final Fantasy XIV was slated to arrive in March. However, Square Enix has decided to delay it until an unknown date because they're unhappy with the PC version.
To tackle the problems currently facing the PC version of the game, Square Enix has reorganized the development team. Hiromichi Tanaka has resigned as producer, and told players he took "full responsibility for the game's current situation." Replacing him is Naoki Yoshida.
"The PlayStation 3 release will be delayed until we are confident that the game has reached the level of enjoyability and service befitting the Final Fantasy name for users on all supported platforms," said Yoshida.
In his farewell note, Tanaka said that the team is working to improve the user interface, battle systems, and availability of tutorials and other game content.
