Fuse Offers Up Pre-Order Bonuses
Insomniac Games’ latest game, the super-charged FPS, Fuse, isn’t set to release until March of next year, but that shouldn’t stop folks with itch trigger fingers from going ahead and pre-ordering the game. Doing so will net you a few in-game goodies, after all.
Insomniac, best known for their for their PlayStation exclusive series within the Ratchet and Clank and Resistance series, are going multiplatform this time around, bringing their latest Sci-Fi blast-a-thon to both the PS3 and Xbox 360. One thing that will remain the same, however, is the publisher’s love of crazy guns. All of their games feature wild weaponry, and Fuse will be no different.
A co-op focused affair, Fuse allows four players to pick a class of gunner and hit the alien terrain with a license to kill. Each class has a set of abilities tied to an elemental reaction, meaning that one player can create a massive shield capable of firing back absorbed energy at their enemies while another can shoot a crossbow that sets pretty much everything on fire. Yet another has the ability to fire a contained black hole that basically rips enemies into antimatter. Neat!
If all of that sounds like a barrel full of awesomeness, then you’ll likely want to pre-order Fuse at either Origin, Amazon or GameStop. Doing so will land you a variety of nifty toys to enjoy in-game, including four Hyperion prototype weapon skins, four Hyperion prototype agent armor skins and a special “Quickdraw” team park, which increases your damage output.
