Fuse Shoots Up U.S. And Europe With Official Release Dates
Fuse, the co-op first-person shooter from the folks at Insomniac Games, finally has a date pinned down for those who have been looking forward to unleashing elemental abilities and buckets of bullets with friends in tow. You can expect to dive into Fuse on May 28 in the U.S. and May 31 in Europe.
For those of you who haven't been paying attention, the answer is yes, Insomniac is the studio behind the Ratchet and Clank and Resistance games for the PlayStation 3. The studio has gone multi-platform for the first time ever with Fuse, however, offering up their newest shooter on both the Xbox 360 and the PS3.
“Fuse thrusts players into the roles of four elite, covert agents, each with their own Xenotech weapon and set of unique skills used to fight and protect mankind from a deadly alien energy source known as Fuse,” reads a statement from Insomniac, going on to state that this will actually be the studio's first ever multi-platform game.
“Insomniac Games is known for delivering best-in-class weaponry that breaks the mold of traditional video games, and Fuse is no different,” said CEO Ted Price. “These Xenotech weapons further the innovation players will find in this unique action co-op shooter. We can't wait to bring Fuse, our first multi-platform game, to gamers worldwide this may.”
