This afternoon Epic Games released a new piece of art for Gears of War: Judgment. The new image shows Damon Baird and the rest of Kilo Squad heading into battle.
Judgment is a prequel to the original Gears trilogy. It takes place right after Emergence Day. Kilo Squad, led by Damon Baird, sets out to stop the Locust from overtaking human settlements. An earlier trailer reveals that they end up on trial for treason somehow. Guess the COG brass don't approve of their tactics.
Kilo Squad is composed of Baird, long-time comrade Cole Train, and two new characters. Sofia Hendrik is a medic, while Garron Paduk is the scout. All four characters will be playable in a class-based Overrun mode.
Judgment will arrive in March 2013 exclusively on the Xbox 360. Development is being headed up by People Can Fly, the studio behind Painkiller and Bulletstorm.
