On January 17th, sandbox action game Saints Row: The Third will receive its strangest DLC yet. That day will mark the release of "Genkibowl VII," an add-on featuring a bizarre and deadly gameshow.
"A genius in entertainment and mayhem, the man-cat Professor Genki has put together the most watched game show event on TV, Genkibowl VII," explains Volition. "But every game show needs a star contestant, and Professor Genki has chosen the leader of the Saints. With the Saints’ reputation for excessive murder and carnage, Steelport’s own Zach and Bobby (of Murderbrawl fame) will give the play-by-play commentary with their newest colleague, Tammy Tolliver."
Some of the games you'll participate in are Sexy Kitten Yarngasm, Sad Panda Skyblazing, Apocolypse Genki, and Super Ethical PR Opportunity. They don't explain what each event is but the names alone suggest that something crazy's about to occur. A new trailer provides a glimpse at each event.
If you own a Season Pass for SR3, you'll get "Genkibowl" for free. Otherwise, you'll need to pay $7, or 560 MS Points.
