Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Coming To XBLA, PC Retail Spring, 2013
I think it's interesting when a game does so well digitally that the developer decides that it's a smart move to take the game physical, that's exactly what's happening with the crowd-funded, greenlight-voted indie game, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams.
The game features two-tiers of gameplay with players having to switch between the two sisters that causes the entire game world to switch around and transform. Players are deigned with using both sisters strategically in order to overcome puzzles, and surmount difficult platforming obstacles.
Twisted Dreams is basically a remake of the age-old Mario-clone from the 80s. The game managed to hit its Kickstarter goal and then eventually found its way to Steam's indie service called Greenlight, where users upvoted the game to appear on Steam's digital store. After racking up a lot of support from the community (and a lot cash from digital sales) bitComposer Entertainment has decided to step in and publish the game at retail as well as offer a version on the Xbox Live Arcade.
Gamers can expect Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams to arrive on store shelves and on the Xbox Live Marketplace in spring of next year. You can learn more about the game by paying a visit to the Official Website.
