Rockstar Games has continued the barrage of new Grand Theft Auto 5 screenshots today. The four screenshots confirm that yes, the game will involve the stealing of automobiles.
In the first shot, we see a man in a grey shirt (the new playable character?) hanging onto the side of a truck. The truck seems to be transporting a sports car. In the next shot, he's driving away in said car with the police fast on his tail. The third shot, perhaps from the same chase, shows the mysterious criminal aiming an AK47 at a police chopper.
If all that criminal activity is too dark for you, you'll be pleased to know that the fourth image is a bit happier. It shows someone flying a biplane along a river. He might not be the legal owner of said plane but it's a relaxing scene nonetheless.
The two batches of screenshots released earlier this week were quiet leisurely. The bundle released on Wednesday showed off skydiving and dirt bikes. The three images from Monday confirmed the inclusion of fighter jets and bicycles.
This week's flood of screenshots was a nice change from the usual radio silence on GTA 5. It's possible that Rockstar is laying the groundwork for a bigger reveal, like a new trailer or the release date. We'll see what next week brings.
