Rockstar Games seems to be planning re-releases of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and San Andreas. The ESRB has rated both games for the PS3, suggesting a PSN launch.
San Andreas and Vice City were both originally released for PS2. Each introduced new fictionalized cities. Vice City's setting was based on 1980's Miami, while San Andreas drew inspiration from 1990's California.
Rockstar has not announced plans to create PS3 ports of these games. However, ESRB has proven to be a reliable source of such news. They often leak the existence of PSN/Xbox Live re-releases before companies have a chance to reveal them.
This is the second Vice City port revealed this week. On Friday, Rockstar announced that they were bringing the game to iOS and Android devices.
San Andreas was arguably the best game in the series to date so it's great to hear it's being resurrected. Interest in that game should be even higher than normal due to its setting being featured in GTA 5.
