Today Harmonix and MTV Games disclosed the release date for Green Day: Rock Band. The music game will arrive June 8th worldwide for the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
GD:RB contains 47 tracks from the band's career, including “Brain Stew,” “Jaded,” “Hitchin’ a Ride,” “American Idiot,” “Wake Me Up When September Ends” and “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.” All of the tracks can be exported for use in other Rock Band games. The six Green Day songs already available in the Rock Band Music Store can be playable in GD:RB with "added vocal harmonies, unique performance visuals, and exclusive archival material."
The June release for GD:RB creates plenty of space between it and Rock Band 3. Harmonix announced earlier in the week that RB3 would hit stores during the holiday season.
