If you signed up for Guild Wars 2's closed beta, you should keep an eye on your inbox for the next few days. ArenaNet confirmed on Saturday that they're starting to send out waves of invites.
"Yes, beta invitations have begun going out," said a post on the official GW2 Facebook page. "They'll be sent out over the next few days. Please remember that discussing the beta in any way, shape, or form -- including your status in it -- is a breach of NDA. Don't risk your beta access!"
ArenaNet opened up beta sign-ups for two days back in February. In that brief window of time, over a million players signed up. It's unknown how many players will be selected for the beta but your competition will be pretty stiff.
Fortunately, there's an alternate way to get into the beta. Starting on April 10th, you can pre-purchase the standard, digital deluxe, or collector's edition and automatically receive access to all beta events. Gamers who pre-purchase will also get a three days' headstart on the retail launch of the game.
Guild Wars 2's release date hasn't been announced yet. ArenaNet expects to launch the game this year, though.
