The upcoming remake of Halo: Combat Evolved will do more than just celebrate the series' 10th anniversary. It will also introduce Kinect support to the franchise.
“As a first-party, we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games," Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer told GmameStop. "Be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse. Even games like Halo Anniversary have Kinect integration."
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary adds high-definition graphics to the 2001 shooter. Xbox Live co-op is also supported. Seven competitive multiplayer maps round out the package.
343 Industries and Saber Interactive are preparing Anniversary for a November 15th, 2011 release.
