Concrete details on Halo: Reach, announced at this year's E3, has been hard to come by so far. Here's one little bit of information, though: it may use Microsoft's controller-free technology Natal.
Bungie president Harold Ryan expressed enthusiasm about Natal in a chat with Seattle Times. "I absolutely think Reach could be enabled with it." Earlier this month Natal director Alex Kipman cited Halo as an example of a hardcore game that could utilize Natal. Kipman said that the technology could be used for driving a Warthog, throwing grenades, or simply looking around corners.
Given Halo's status as a flagship Xbox 360 franchise and its tremendous sales potential, Microsoft would no doubt love it if Halo: Reach were a Natal launch title. Both Reach and Natal are set to be released in 2010.
