House Of The Dead: Overkill Extended Cut Announced For PS3

With the PlayStation Move securely having made its way into millions of homes for PS3 owners Sega has decided to capitalize on this newfound market for motion-based gaming on the HD consoles. Today, Sega announced that House of the Dead: Overkill – Extended Cut is being released for the PS3 on October 25th later this year with PS Move , 3D and HD support.
Gary Knight of SEGA commented in the press release, saying…
“The House of the Dead: OVERKILL – Extended Cut for the PlayStation 3 system will send players to the shrieking mad heart of mutant mayhem. This time we went further, faster and bloodier than before. We extended everything, even the title.”
That’s pretty cool. But House of the Dead: Overkill was already total overkill on the Wii, so it’ll be interesting to see how far they pushed the pulp in the PS3 rendition of the B-Movie style shooter.
The extended cut will contain brand new modes, new missions, new weapons and new trophies. You can keep up to date on the new extended cut of House of the Dead: Overkill by visiting the Official Website.
