On the eve of Hunger Games' theatrical release, Lionsgate has released a tie-in mobile game. Hunger Games: Girl On Fire can be downloaded to your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad for no charge.
Girl on Fire takes place before the events of the first film/book. Katniss Everdeen is hunting for food in the wilderness outside District 12 when suddenly a swarm of Tracker Jacker wasps appear. She'll have to shoot these mutated insects down with her bow and arrow. Once she gets back to District 12, she'll have to contend with Capitol hovercrafts.
Gameplay wise, Girl on Fire is a side-scrolling shooter. You tap on enemies to shoot arrows at them. Swiping up and down lets you leap in and out of trees.
