ArenaNet is hosting a brief open-beta period for 48 hours that will enable any and all gamers to sign-up for a chance to play Guild Wars 2 before anyone else. Not everyone will be chosen but if you hurry you might get to play Guild Wars 2 right now!
We were sent a brief event notice that was short and sweet, simply notifying us that interested gamers can participate in the beta but first you'll need to sign-up. As if it wasn't stressed enough before, you'll only have 48 hours to get in on the action so hurrying to join the beta basically means you'll need to stop reading like right now and just drop down to the final paragraph and click on the Official Website link as fast as you can and start dropping important info on the sign-up page as if your life depended on it.
For those who don't know, Guild Wars 2 is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2012 and offers gamers who enjoy guild-based combat a nice, hefty adventure unlike many other titles currently out there on the market. You can fight on land and in the sea, loot for treasure and battle larger-than-life bosses.
I'm sure those of you who already know about Guild Wars 2 don't care about reading about stuff you already know, you probably just want that link so you can join the beta...well, maybe I'll procrastinate a bit just to keep you on the page.
