Injustice: Gods Among Us' fourth DLC character will be General Zod, Superman's nemesis. The new character was confirmed during a "Clueless Gamer" segment on Conan.
Zod is a warrior from Krypton, the home world of Superman. He possesses many of the same abilities as Superman, including flight and superhuman strength. He has much more elaborate facial hair, though. Zod is the main antagonist of the Man of Steel film launching today but his appearance is based more on his comic incarnation.
At about 3:20 into the "Clueless Gamer" segment above, we get to see Zod in action. The video also offers a glimpse at "The Flaming C," the Conan O'Brien-inspired skin for Zod. According to Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon, we'll see more of the character soon.
"Yes, General Zod is the 4th DLC character in INJUSTICE !! Next week we are releasing a game-play video that demonstrates his unique moves!" Boon tweeted.
Previously released DLC characters for Injustice include Batgirl, Lobo, and Scorpion.
