Injustice: Gods Among Us Gets Infested With Scorpion

Get over here…and watch this new video highlighting the official announcement that Scorpion will soon join the cast of Injustice: Gods Among Us.
This morning, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new video featuring Mortal Kombat and Injustice director, Ed Boon. In the video, Boon discusses his experience with the DC universe, as well as how his own fighting game’s poster child, Scorpion, will soon be joining the cast of Injustice: Gods Among Us.
The DC and Mortal Kombat universes first collided a couple of years ago in the appropriately titled fighting game, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. In that game, the two worlds bled together as a tear in reality allowed the two casts of characters to come together and, of course, kick the crap out of us.
Now that the team at NetherRealm have created another top-notch Mortal Kombat game with the 2011 re-launch and a well-received DC fighting game with Injustice, the developer is once again bringing the two world together with the upcoming release of Scorpion as a DLC character.
When he arrives on Gods Among Us, scorpion will set you back 400 MSP on Xbox 360 and $5 on PlayStation 3. Along with his sweet new design, provided by DC Entertainment’s Jim Lee, Scorpion will features some new moves and controls in order to fit in with the decidedly different fighting style of Injustice. So long as he still spears fools, though, I think we can all handle a little bit of change.
