Killzone: Shadow Fall Announced For PlayStation 4
While Killzone 3 seemed to wrap up some of the biggest stories surrounding the Killzone mythos, Guerrilla Games wasn't finished with the franchise and neither was Sony. So what better game to have prepped and ready for the PlayStation 4 than Killzone: Shadow Fall, the next-gen chapter in the long running series.
The game has players getting back into the grind of things with a relentless and unforgiving enemy. To drive this point home Sony and Guerrilla Games let loose an in-engine trailer for Killzone: Shadow Fall that gives gamers a good idea of how the game will look and run on the next generation PlayStation.
Pretty neat video eh? Killzone: Shadow Fall seems to be shaping up to be quite a visual spectacle with all sorts of graphical advancements to make the FPS experience one worth remembering.
However, here comes the bad news: we have no idea if that was actually in-game play or just in-engine renders and we really don't know if that was actually running on PlayStation 4 hardware, although I have no doubts in my mind that the system should be able to render all of that without any problems.
I guess we'll find out by E3 how playable the game really is. Until then, keep an eye out on the official Killzone website.
