It seems the Complete Edition of L.A. Noire isn't a PC exclusive. Rockstar Games announced today that they're preparing Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the compilation as well. They'll arrive on November 15th in North America and on the 18th worldwide.
The Complete Edition comes with the base game as well as all of its downloadable content. This DLC includes the "Nicholson Electroplating" Arson case, "Reefer Madness" Vice case, "The Consul's Car" Traffic case, "The Naked City" Vice case , "A Slip of the Tongue" Traffic case, and The Badge Pursuit Challenge. You'll get a few bonus weapons and outfits, too.
In L.A. Noire, players take on the role of 1940s LAPD detective Cole Phelps. To solve cases, he must investigate crime scenes, question witnesses and suspects, chase down perps, and fight a few good-for-nothings. The game received lots of praise for its use of MotionScan, a facial capture technology that allowed players to see realistic facial expressions - handy for interrogations.
The PC version of L.A. Noire Complete Edition, the first time it will arrive on that platform, is due on November 8th and 11th in North America and Europe, respectively. That version is $49.99. It's not clear yet how much the PS3/360 iterations will cost.
It's an interesting holiday season for Rockstar Games. They don't have any new games to sell but they've got several remakes. Earlier this month they released the Game of the Year Edition of Red Dead Redemption. Sometime this fall they'll release Grand Theft Auto III on iOS and Android devices.
