Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced a follow-up to LEGO Batman. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will arrive this summer on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, DS, 3DS, PC and PS Vita.
In LEGO Batman 2, Batman and Robin face off against the likes of Lex Luthor and the Joker. They'll have some back-up this time around, though. They'll be assisted in their journey by Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern among others.
DC Super Heroes lets players travel across Gotham City in the Batmobile and Batwing. They'll be armed with a variety of gadgets, including the Hazard Cannon and Batman's Power Suit. Flight, heat vision, and super-breath are just some of the super powers at the players' disposal.
"LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes builds upon the action and cooperative gameplay experience established in our best-selling LEGO video game to date, LEGO Batman: The Videogame," said Tom Stone, Managing Director of TT Games. "We're offering fans a rich and expansive Gotham City environment filled with cool characters, great customization options and plenty of surprises that families, young gamers and DC Universe fans can enjoy together."
LEGO just released a new toy set in a similar vein. The LEGO Super Heroes: DC Universe toy collection features five construction sets including the Batcave and three buildable action figures.
