Update: Naughty Dog has announced The Last of Us Remastered for a summer 2014 release on the PS4.
The PS4 version of Last of Us will run at 1080p with improved textures, character models and lighting. Remastered will also include all of the game's DLC, including the upcoming "Reclaimed Territories Pack." Creative director and writer Neil Druckmann will provide exclusive audio commentary for cinematics along with voice actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson.
"Whether you are new to The Last of Us or have played it already on the PS3, we hope you are all looking forward to this release. We are!" said Naughty Dog's Arne Meyer on the PlayStation.Blog.
Original article: Is Sony going to finally announce the PS4 version of The Last Of Us? The long-awaited port just showed up in a listing on the PlayStation Store.
Last of Us PS4 is currently in the slideshow at the top of the PlayStation Store's main Games page. What's more, it's the first image in the slideshow. Check it out for yourself:
If the banner simply said "PS4" instead of "PS3," you could argue that this was just a clerical error. However, the fact that the ad mentions a specific name for the remake - Last of Us: Remastered - with a logo makes it all look very official.
The ad also mentions that the PS4 version will cost $59.99. That might bug current owners of the PS3 version hoping to buy the latest version of the game. It's not unexpected, though, considering the PS3 version still retails for full price. Maybe Sony will offer a discount to these double-dippers?

Last of Us developer Naughty Dog hinted at a PS4 remake in February. Creative director Neil Druckmann said that the decision to bring the game to Sony's new console depended on what the demand is and how many resources it would take.
A month later, the PS4 version of the survival horror game was seemingly confirmed by a PlayStation marketing manager in an interview.
"There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically," Sony's Sercan Sulun said at the time. He added that the PS4 version will ship with all of the downloadable content released on PS3, including the Left Behind single-player adventure.
I expected Sony or Naughty Dog to follow up on that interview with the official details on Last of Us PS4. However, they never said a word. This left us in a weird news limbo. It seems all-but-certain that Last of Us is coming to the PS4 but we know next to nothing about it.
Today's PlayStation Store listing looks to be another case of someone jumping the gun on an official reveal. When you click the image, a standard error page appears:
I'm curious to see how Sony responds to this latest goof. Will they take down the banner ad and pretend like nothing happened? Or will today be the day that we finally get some details on the PS4 version?
