Left 4 Dead 2: PAX '09 Gameplay Media Blowout
Gametrailers recently released an eye-full of new gameplay trailers of Left 4 Dead 2. All the action was taken from this year's Penny Arcade Expo. The good news is that gamers who didn't attend the event can still get all the zombie blasting action delivered to you right here at Blend Games.
Left 4 Dead 2 has encountered its fair share of controversy, despite being a simple follow-up sequel to one of the best shooters of 2008 for the Xbox 360 and PC. In a way, its simplicity as a sequel is what formed a Left 4 Dead 2 Boycott that Blend Games’ own Ryan Rigney went inside and try to learn more about but only received lots of angry fanboyism. Regardless of claims that the game isn’t much of a sequel but more like an expensive add-on, it at least plays out like a…uh…add-on?
Yeah, despite hoping otherwise there’s a few new weapons and a few new enemies but the game looks about the same as the original. It even plays out the same. Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean you can’t fill your head with zombie-blasting goodness. Come November 17th you’ll be primed and ready for Left 4 Dead 2.
