Massive multiplayer shooter MAG's last beta was pretty huge but some of you were smelly and/or ugly enough not to get in. Well, good news: the fifth beta began today and it's open to everyone.
To participate in the open beta, you'll need to first download the 298 MB MAG beta file from the PlayStation Store. No, the whole beta isn't 298 MB - that's just the client program. After downloading a 37 MB patch for said program, it will restart and then begin downloading the actual game files. The files will total between 1.8 GB and 2.3 GB depending on what region you live in. Or you could've just preloaded these files two weeks ago and saved yourself this whole ordeal.
Beta 5 will end on January 10th. The game hits stores on January 26th in North America and January 29th in Europe.
