MSI GT70 First Gaming Laptop To Ship With Killer DoubleShot
We're getting into nerd-drooling territory with this news. Qualcomm Atheros and MSI Computer Corp have announced that they have partnered together to offer mobile laptop gamers a high-end gaming experience with top of the line networking capabilities thanks to the Killer DoubleShot.
The DoubleShot is a combination of previously announced Killer Technology devices, namely the Wireless-N 1202 high performance 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi module with Bluetooth support and the Killer E2200 high performance Ethernet controller. This combination will be integrated into the MSI GT70 gaming laptop, enabling gamers to experience high-speed network gaming to match their high-speed framerates. It also means that when you join an online game in a competitive FPS or MOBA title, when the lag hits the fan you can throw your hands up and say "Well at least I know it isn't me."
Sam Chern, global marketing director of MSI Computer commented in the press release, saying...
The bundle also comes equipped with Killer's network management software and Visual Bandwidth Control so you can manually gauge and manage both incoming and outgoing traffic.
And just so you know, the MSI GT70 is no slouch; it has a 17.3 inch screen space, 12GB of DDR3 RAM and a smoking hot Intel Core i7 3610QM Processor. I haven't used this particular laptop brand so even though the specs look good and it comes with the Killer DoubleShot networking solution, you'll still need to do some reading around to see how well MSI performs over the long haul.
You can look for the Killer DoubleShot in new MSI GT70 gaming laptops or learn more by paying a visit to the Official Website.
