There might not be any NFL games this fall but Madden won't be taking a break. EA Sports president Peter Moore announced at an EA Sports event last night that Madden NFL 12 is still coming.
"We'll be shipping this year, regardless of what the labor issues are, whether they're resolved or not," said Moore (via Joystiq. "Madden 12 will be shipping on August 30th 2011, regardless of what happens with the league itself."
EA is currently in the process of determining what soon-to-be-unemployed athlete will grace Madden 12's cover. They opened the matter up to fan voting late last month. The cover athlete will be announced on April 27th.
