Malicious, GTA Discounts Hit PlayStation Plus Today
It's Tuesday, so that must mean it's time for another dose of free and discounted content courtesy of PlayStation Plus. This week's free game is the brawltastic Malicious, complemented by a sale on all things Grand Theft Auto starting this afternoon.
Malicious finally arrived on the U.S. PlayStation Network last summer, giving players a chance to take on hordes of enemies and epic bosses, all crammed into a smaller, bite-sized package. A Japanese-made action title, the combat in Malicious is reminiscent of games like Bayonetta or Devil May Cry. Only, instead of using swords and pistols, Malicious's hero relies on one seriously vicious scarf to take out the baddies. If that's sounds like something you'd enjoy doing while, say, waiting at the bus stop, then you'll be happy to know that an enhanced version of Malicious is also headed to the PlayStation Vita.
We announced Malicious would be a part of the April PS Plus calendar earlier this month, and you can refer back to that post if you want to get an idea of what other content will be coming out over the course of the next couple of weeks. But what that original post didn't cover were the various sales that would also be going on throughout the month of April.
Part of Sony's ongoing Spring Fever promotion, you can expect a discounted price on Dragon Fantasy: Book I later this afternoon (Down from $9.99 to $7.99), as well as a sale on loads of Grand Theft Auto content. Below you will find the various games and DLCs being discounted, followed by their Spring Fever sale price, with the extra discounted PS Plus price in parenthesis.
