Manhunt Now Available For PSN
That age-old violent game that had people like Jack Thompson and the ESRB biting their nails and leaking human juice into their panties has finally made a comeback, and this time Rockstar's no-holds-barred hunting game has become available on Sony's digital distribution portal. It'll fit in quite nicely as a tag-team partner with Dennaton Games' Hotline Miami.
Rockstar has been reviving a lot of their older games for today's platforms, and it's a cool thing to do as it allows newer generations of gamers to get a taste of what made the previous gen so beloved. Today, Rockstar has announced that the original Manhunt has become available on the PlayStation Network for $9.99.
I never really understood the squeamishness that some people had for this game, but I'm guessing a lot of it had to do with the presentation over the actual graphic violence. As the video above showcases, the graphics were never great for this game, and in a way the bad graphics turned a lot of the violence into comedy. Now...as for Manhunt 2 on the Wii, that's a bit more debatable about the gore. And if Rockstar ever remade Manhunt in HD for the PS4 and Xbox Infinity...well, then I'm sure human juice will be leaking all over again from the usual anti-violence advocates...and maybe from gamers, too.
Anyway, you can go on a man-hunting spree right now and take a hook and yank it hard into another man's junk and then rip it out like you're revving up a chainsaw right now. The game, of course, is rated 'M' for Mature.
Need more info? No, you don't. But if the video above got you all leaky with cold sweat then just watch this video here or the one below.
