You can always count on the Cap’n to save the day, and always in a more dynamic fashion than his spande- and-cape wearing rival, Superman. The new trailer for MvsC 3: FtW features Mr. Red White and Blue coming to save the day as the S.H.I.E.L.D flying fortress gets toasted. The entire helicopter sequence would probably get most fans getting up and cheering. Yes, Captain America is a badass.
It’s a little too bad that the trailer doesn’t represent a game where you can do a little more than fight opponents on a 2D plane. It would have been pretty cool following a progressive Marvel Ultimate Alliance story arc with Capcom’s indelible fighting mechanics fused in with their new HDR cel-shaded engine.
