While announcing the results for their fiscal third quarter, Take-Two Interactive also detailed the upcoming releases for next year. One game is noticeably absent from the list: Max Payne 3.
The updated calendar released by Take-Two makes no mention of the game. That's not too promising, considering they even list BioShock Infinite, which might not arrive until the end of 2012.
"There is no update on that title at this time," Take-Two CFO Lainie Goldstein said during the Q&A portion of an investor call today. Again, not really an auspicious sign.
Payne 3 was announced nearly two years ago. Though originally scheduled for late 2009, it was delayed to 2010 and then 2011. Now who knows?
