Today Metro: Last Light publisher Deep Silver announced their downloadable content plans for the post-apocalyptic shooter. The first DLC pack will be arriving in June.
The Faction Pack will be the first add-on released. It's said to add new gameplay to expand on the Last Light story. It will be joined in time by the Chronicles Pack, another story-oriented add-on.
Details on the other DLC packs are even more vague. The Developer Pack is said to give players "interesting tools with which to explore the world of Metro." The Tower Pack, meanwhile, is a "unique solo challenge."
You can purchase all of this DLC in one fell swoop by buying the Season Pass. The Metro: Last Light pass is now available through Xbox Live, PSN and Steam for $15. In addition to giving you access to each DLC pack as it's release, the pass also unlocks a weapon called the Abzats. The Abzats is a semi-auto shotgun with an alternate fire mode that shoots six shells at once.
If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can get the Season Pass at a 25% discount. This discount will be in effect from now until June 4th in the US or June 5th in Europe.
