It looks like everyone's trying to finish their patches before the holidays begin. The latest game to get a fix is Modern Warfare 2.
Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling tweeted a few moments ago that a patch for the PS3 has gone live which "includes Akimbo 1887s re-balancing, fix for Prestige hack, & fix for Public 'private' Match." Similar patches for the Xbox 360 and PC are said to be coming soon.
I've been without my Xbox 360 and MW2 for about three weeks due to a Red Ring. It's funny to see that the game's actually gotten less stable in that time. Hopefully the patch rights the ship, though.
