Cheaters' dominance of Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer may come to an end soon. Infinity Ward said that they're about to release a security update for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions.
"The latest patch for Modern Warfare 2 has finished production and is now going through internal quality assurance," said community manager Robert Bowling. "This new title update will address security issues that have affected online play."
The patch will also fix an exploit on the map Fuel. It seems players figured out a way to get inside a rock in the map. Tricksy cheaters.
No release date has been announced for the update yet.
