The character roster for the game includes Catwoman (fan-service alert!), Kitana (more fan-service alert!), Raiden, Liu Kang, Batman, Lex Luthor (lame), The Flash, Shao Khan, Darkseid, Superman, Baraka, Green Latern, Scorpian, Sub-Zero, Sonja Blade, Jax, The Joker, Kano, Captain Marvel, Shang Tsung, Deathstroke and Wonder Woman. Dang, that’s a lot of characters...sort of. The game will feature new fighting modes, like the close-kombat mode that zooms in for extra hard-hitting combos, the free-fall mode that lets players battle in the air, and rage mode, which supports extra damage when activated.
