Munch's Oddysee Hits PlayStation Plus, June PlayStation Top Sellers Revealed
It's Tuesday, which means it's time for another dose of PlayStation Plus as Sony's premium service dishes out another free game and several new sales as part of the Summer Blast 2013 promotion. Now that we're truly out of June, we can also take a gander at last month's best-selling games for the PlayStation stable of consoles.
First up, the new Plus Content. We announced last week that Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD would be part of the June Plus calendar and, this week, it makes its debut. The third game in the cult series, this is Munch's first trip onto a PlayStation console. While the original Oddworld games were both PlayStation exclusives, the next two titles in the series, including Stranger's Wrath made their home on the Xbox. While the HD-ification of Munch's Oddysee has been available on PSN for a while now, Plus members can start enjoying it today as part of their Instant Game Collection.
The Summer Blast Sale continues this week, too, offering discounts on another long list of games. Everyone can take advantage of these sales, but Plus subscribers will be able to grab the games at an even deeper discount due to their super-special status. You can visit the official posting for a full list of prices but, this being a Plus-focused post, we'll include those extra discounts for you here.

Sony today also announced its top sellers across various platforms for the month of June and, surprising no one, The Last of Us stole the show. Joel and Ellie's cross-country trip across a plague-ravaged U.S. took top honors on the PlayStation 3 chart last month while the similarly themed The Walking Dead came in second. Gamers were apparently in a melancholy mood last month, as third place belonged to Tomb Raider.
Over to the top-selling add-ons of the month and Call of Duty: Black Ops II stole the show with the Uprising, Nuketown Zombies and Revolution packs taking top honors in that order.
The beautifully ported Hotline Miami led the way on the Vita in July, followed by a resurgence in sales for Assassin's Creed III Liberation and the just barely released Muramasa Rebirth.
The remainder of the charts, including top-10 finishers in each category, can be perused over on the PlayStation Blog.
