Ninja Theory, the developer of Heavenly Sword and DmC: Devil May Cry, will release their next game this summer. The game is called Fightback will be the studio's first release on mobile devices.
Fightback is an action game that draws inspiration from 80s movies. Players will pummel enemies using a "revolutionary" combat system. It's free to download and play.
The game is being published by Chillingo, a division of EA. They're also the publishers of mobile hits like Angry Birds anrd Cut the Rope.
"Mobile and tablet gaming is a phenomenon that we just couldn’t ignore as a studio and we’re very proud to be working with one of the industry’s heavy-weights on bringing Fightback to market. Ninja Theory has always strived for the highest production values and that absolutely remains the case in this exciting new space,” said Dominic Matthews, product manager at Ninja Theory.
Additional details will be shared during E3, when the press will be able to log some hands-on time with Fightback.
