OlliOlli 2, Moon Hunters And Futuridium Bolster PlayStation Indie Roster

A trio of new indie titles for PlayStation platforms were announced this morning, including the insane arcade flier, Futuridium: Extended Play, Moon Hunters and OlliOlli2: welcome to Olliwood, all arriving on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
The PlayStation Blog has been buzzing with activity this morning as various developers pulled back the curtain on their upcoming projects. First up is the fast, frantic and colorful Futuridium: Extended Play.
Seemingly forged in the fire of such games as Star Fox, Futuridium puts the player in control of a super-fast space ship that’s barelling straight ahead into glory. Expect tight turns, narrow passages and loads of things to shoot at while you attempt to master 50 levels worth of tricky obstacles and bosses.
Futuridium is moving so fast that it’ll actually arrive next week, launching on the PS4 and Vita Sept. 30 for $12.49. There’s also a 20 percent launch discount for Plus subscribers, knocking the game down to just $9.99 for the first week.
Next up is the sequel to a recently launched Vita hit, OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood. Not due until sometime in 2015, this latest iteration of the tricked-out skateboarding game will offer new settings on the “Olliwood” movie lot, enhanced gameplay mechanics, new ramps, jumps and hills to create more variety on the split-level maps, as well as a new Combo Rush mode that allows up to four players to battle for the best score within a given time limit.
Finally, there’s Moon Hunters, also set to arrive on the PS4 and Vita sometime in 2015, though likely during the tail-end of the year.
Funded through Kickstarter, Moon Hunters is a retro-themed one to four-player action RPG set in the mythical land of Mesopotamia. The moon has disappeared and it’s your job to find out way. To do that, you’ll need to explore vast landscapes, defeat loads of monster and craft an adventure worthy of legend.
