Orion: Dino Horde Coming To Steam; Xbox 720, PS4 Release Possible

Spiral Games Studio has announced that Oroin: Dino Horde is coming to Steam and that the game will receive a multiplayer beta. What's more is that beta sign-ups have already begun and if you want to hop into a mech with a few friends and fight some of the baddest dinosaurs to walk the planet, you can register for your chance to participate in the upcoming beta.
Orion Dino Horde pits players against increasingly difficult waves of dinosaurs in an semi-open world environment. You can hop in vehicles, take to the skies with aerial support or jetpacks and upgrade and unlock weapons that range from pistols and sniper rifles, to machine guns and shotguns. You can get a brief glimpse of the game in action with the new trailer below.
Spiral Games is also eying the next-generation of consoles for release, bypassing any release on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Why? Well, the current-gen consoles are just completely and entirely milked out.
Instead of trying to waste time, energy and money paying to get a gimped version of Orion: Dino Horde out there, the team is instead considering a digital release for the newly announced PS4 and what will presumably be called the Xbox 720. However, nothing is concrete and we'll just have to wait and see how it all unfolds.
For now, you can look forward to the game arriving on PC via Steam, and anyone who already owns the original Orion: Dino Beatdown will receive the sequel for free. For more information on the game or the option to register for the beta, be sure to visit the Official Website.
