Orion: Dino Horde Lets You Play As A T-Rex
There have been a couple of dino games released recently, the first was Orion: Dino Beatdown and the other was Primal Carnage. The original Orion focused on cooperative, team-based scenarios against increasingly difficult waves of dinosaurs in an open-world environment. Primal Carnage was a PvP type game with humans versus dinosaurs. Spiral Game Studios' announcement of Orion: Dino Horde aims to combine both the aforementioned titles into one giant orgy of destruction by allowing players to play as dinos or work cooperatively as humans.
A new video has been released of the playable T-Rex, amongst other dinos, as the team preps to release the sequel to Orion: Dino Beatdown. You can check the dino-chomping action out in the new trailer below.
The first game had a love-hate relationship with gamers, mainly because it was so darn glitchy at launch but had such a great premise. Had it been packaged up better and ironed out, the game could have cashed in on a ton of potential, but it didn't quite turn out that way.
Moreover, Spiral Game Studios has decided to try their hand at a sequel that takes all the good parts from the first game and fixes them up in the second game, making everything both bigger and better. More guns, more vehicles, more upgrades, bigger environments and playable dinosaurs. The best part about it is that Orion: Dino Horde will be free for anyone who already owns Orion: Dino Beatdown.
If you're still not completely convinced. You can check out a new AI demonstration video below, which is definitely worth a look. For more information, be sure to visit the Official Website.
